Northwest Asset Management Brings In Industry Veteran To Lead New Portland Branch

Northwest Asset Management, the registered investor advisor that offers wealth management services, has appointed Phil Diamond as chartered financial analyst and chief investment officer.

Diamond previously served as chief investment officer at Focus Point Solutions, where he oversaw portfolio research and analysis. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president and portfolio manager for Dwight Asset Management and was director of equity research and institutional fund manager at First Interstate Bank of Oregon. 

At his new role, he will be in charge of analyzing, creating and maintaining customized client portfolios for Northwest's network of investment advisor representatives and RIAs. He will also lead the division to add more advisors to the firm. The appointment happened as the firm opened its new office in Portland, Oregon.

"This expansion will allow us to invest in updated technology, meet the needs of our advisors and increase our ability to respond to clients' needs with clarity and speed," said Greg Headrick, the managing partner for Northwest. 

Northwest Asset Management is headquartered in Mercer Island, Washington and has $510 million in assets under management.
